Air Lease Corporation is an aircraft leasing company. The Company is principally engaged in purchasing the technology commercial jet aircraft directly from aircraft manufacturers, such as Airbus S.A.S. (Airbus) and The Boeing Company (Boeing) and leasing those aircraft to airlines throughout the world.
In addition to its leasing activities, the Company sells aircraft from its fleet to third parties, including other leasing companies, financial services companies, airlines and other investors. The Company also provide fleet management services to investors and owners of aircraft portfolios for a management fee.
The Company operates its business on a global basis, providing aircraft to airline customers in various geographical region, including markets, such as Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Central America, South America and Mexico, and the United Kingdom and Canada. The Company has a globally diversified customer base comprised of 119 airlines in 62 countries..
