Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren and Republican candidate John Deaton are scheduled to engage in two debates ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 election. These debates are set to take place on October 15 and October 17. New England Public Media and GBH News will host a debate on October 17 in Springfield, while Warren and Deaton will also appear on WSBK-TV in Boston on October 15.

The specifics of the discussion topics remain uncertain, as GBH News has indicated that it will not disclose the debate topics in advance. Throughout her tenure, Warren has been a prominent critic of cryptocurrencies, frequently linking digital assets to the funding of illegal activities. Conversely, Deaton, who is a lawyer, has voiced his support for Ripple and other cryptocurrency companies that are currently entangled in legal challenges brought forth by the U.S.

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Recent polling conducted in September suggests that Warren maintains a lead over Deaton by over 20 percentage points in the upcoming election.
