In September, crypto companies successfully raised an impressive total of $823 million, spreading across 200 distinct entities. Leading this fundraising surge was Celestia, with its ecosystem fund raising a significant $100 million. This was closely followed by Infinex, which garnered $65 million through public token sales.

Such strategic funding efforts, exemplified by Celestia’s substantial raise, played a vital role in the overall financial landscape, aided by the TON Foundation's ecosystem fundraising initiatives. Seed rounds emerged as the most prevalent funding mechanism, witnessing 41 companies secure seed investments last month, drawing insights from TIE data. Moreover, decentralized finance (DeFi) entities also received noteworthy investments, with 33 companies successfully announcing funding.

In terms of total funds collected, Protocol Development took the lead, raking in a remarkable $192 million. As we transition into October, the funding atmosphere appears to be tempering, with only a handful of token unlocks projected for the remainder of the month. In a notable development, Humanode has initiated an Ecosystem Funding Program valued at $10 million.

This initiative is designed to bolster and cultivate the upcoming generation of Sybil-resistant projects within its network. The initial focus will be on consumer decentralized applications (dapps) anticipated to attract one million unique users. Humanode is poised to collaborate closely with the selected projects, extending not just financial support but also guidance in terms of technical implementation, media outreach, and community engagement. Dato Kavazi, the co-founder of Humanode, highlighted the crucial nature of investing in individuals and projects that grasp the significance of Sybil-resistance in their dapps.

The primary objective is to empower projects with the ambition and capability to create a lasting impact within the crypto landscape..
