Prosus has forecasted a notable increase in fiscal 2025 revenue, driven by significant growth and innovation, achieving a remarkable 26% topline expansion during the first half of the fiscal year. The company aims for a revenue target of $6.2 billion for the 12 months concluding on March 31, 2025. In the preceding fiscal year 2024, the subsidiary of South African multimedia and technology giant Naspers generated revenues of $5.47 billion. For the six months ending September 30, 2024, revenue from continuing operations increased year over year, climbing to $2.96 billion from $2.56 billion.

The consolidated revenue from Prosus's core ecommerce segment also experienced a healthy 16% boost, reaching $3 billion. Moreover, net profit attributable to equity holders surged to $4.59 billion, up from $3.38 billion, benefitting from strong performance in ecommerce and from its investment in Tencent, where Prosus holds a significant 24.3% stake. Prosus' food delivery segment, iFood, reported impressive order growth of 29%, breaking the 100-million-order milestone in August.

This growth resulted in record profits for iFood, which continues to pursue innovation and ecosystem expansion. In addition, Swiggy’s upcoming initial public offering on Indian exchanges is expected to yield Prosus a substantial gain of $2 billion. The company also highlighted robust performances in its OLX classified ads business and vibrant results from its payments and fintech unit, PayU, together with advancements in its Etail and Edtech segments during the first half of the fiscal year. "Consolidated Ecommerce profitability in 1H25 significantly exceeded that of the prior 12 months," stated the company's interim results.

They added, "We expect to continue this growth trajectory by accelerating our innovation efforts and enhancing execution, investing with an AI-first approach, and leveraging the potential of the Prosus technology ecosystem." Despite this optimistic outlook, Prosus shares saw a slight decline in midmorning trading in Amsterdam..
