Previously, the ZKsync community had submitted the 'ZIP-001: Protocol Defense' proposal on-chain, scheduling the voting to commence on November 27 at 1:00 UTC+8.

This proposal aims to implement numerous enhancements in code quality and gas optimizations within the ZKsync protocol. Key alterations include the transition from string-based recovery to custom errors, the introduction of stricter solhint regulations, the utilization of floating compile directives for libraries and interfaces, and the execution of minor gas optimization adjustments.
